Two million foreign tourists have visited Iran between March and August 2026, says Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Anoushiravan Mohseni‑Bandpei.

More than 200,000 tourists visited Meshginshahr County, Ardabil Province, in northwestern Iran during last week’s holiday break, according to the local head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department.
