Economic development of Belarus and Russia depends on equal access to energy, Belarus’ Energy Minister Denis Moroz said at the session «The Union State: At The Turn Of Eras» at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, BelTA learned.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko convened a meeting on 19 June to discuss preparations for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting and the Eurasian Economic Forum, BelTA has learned.

More than 2,000 participants from 29 countries have already registered for the Eurasian Economic Forum due in Minsk on 26 June, Belarusian Minister of foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said at a meeting hosted by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to discuss the preparations for a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum, BelTA learned.

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the heads of international news agencies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The meeting was held as a Q&A session and was devoted to topical aspects of the domestic and foreign policy of the Russian Federation, as well as key international events.

Belarus’ PM emphasizes efficient preparation for the Eurasian Economic Forum in June, focusing on Eurasian integration.

The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Minsk on June 26-27, 2025, at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. Funding will come from the Eurasian Economic Union budget, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other sources.
