Belarus’ central bank drops refinancing rate to 9.25%
The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB) has lowered the refinancing rate to 9.25% per annum. Chairman of the NBRB Board Roman Golovchenko made the statement following a session of the NBRB Board held to review the refinancing rate and the rates on bank liquidity support operations, BelTA has learned.
Belarus plants 95% of spring crops
Belarus has planted 95% of its spring crops, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
Harvest Targets
In accordance with the Head of State’s directive, this year’s harvest across all categories of farms should reach at least 11.5 million tons, including 7.5–8 million tons of cereals, 2.5 million tons of maize, and at least 1 million tons of rapeseed. The target for this year is also to harvest 5 million tons of sugar beet and 55,000 tons of flax fibre.
