Belarus and the Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom are cooperating across a wide range of areas and intend to continue this interaction, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said during a meeting with Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev, BelTA has learned.

The Eurasian Development Bank revised the growth forecast upward for Belarus to 3% in 2025 thanks to strong results at the beginning of the year and the expected expansion of credit support for investment, said Anton Dolgovechny, senior analyst at the Center for Country Analysis of the Directorate for Analytical Work of the EDB, BelTA learned.

Next year, domestic specialists are expected to extract a record 2.5 million tons of oil, including more than 10% using new technologies. This was announced at the international conference «Heavy but recoverable oil reserves: from assessment to development» by Aleksandr Lyakhov, CEO of the State Production Association «Belorusneft».
