On Monday, 3 August, Vasilina Khandoshka scored 292.3887 points in the Women’s Solo Free claiming first place among 12 finalists. Germany’s Klara Bleyer took silver, finishing three points behind, while Spain’s Iris Tio Casas rounded out the podium, trailing the Belarusian athlete by nearly eight points.
This marks Vasilina Khandoshka’s first European championship gold in her career. Six years ago, she won a bronze medal at the European championships in Budapest. She also has three world championship medals to her name. The Women’s Solo Technical medals at the Paris tournament will be contested on 4 August.
