Maksim Ryzhenkov and Hermann Alexander Beyeler discussed ways to step up cooperation in various areas, and the honorary consul’s initiatives to implement new joint projects. Particular attention was paid to the role of the honorary consul in promoting people’s diplomacy, expanding cooperation in healthcare, sports and culture.

The Belarusian foreign minister thanked the honorary consul for his significant personal contribution to strengthening Belarus-Switzerland ties in the social and humanitarian sphere and presented him with the Partnership badge of distinction of the diplomatic service.
