Over 1,700 vehicles queued up at Belarus’ border to enter Poland

A total of 1,713 passenger cars and 40 buses are waiting to enter Poland at the border crossings of Terespol (Brest), Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa), and Kuznica Bialostocka (Bruzgi), the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA. 



Over the past 24 hours, the neighboring side has processed only 30% of the vehicles.

At the Lithuanian border, 290 passenger cars are queued at the Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Salcininkai (Benyakoni) checkpoints. The control services at these crossings have processed 60% of the normal capacity.

In addition, more than 930 trucks are lined up at the Polish border crossings. The border posts at Kukuryki (Kozlovichi) and Bobrowniki have processed 33% and 15% of freight traffic, respectively.

A total of 340 trucks are waiting at the Medininkai and Salcininkai checkpoints on the Lithuanian border. The control services at these crossings have processed 20% of the normal capacity.
