In particular, Aleksandr Lukashenko mentioned his visit to the agricultural enterprise OAO Nestanovichi-Agro in Logoisk District, Minsk Oblast on 28 February. Coincidentally, the president authorized the appointment of Sergei Zubel as the new Chairman of the Logoisk District Executive Committee today.

«I was warned about [plans to replace the district administration head in] Logoisk when I was visiting this enterprise. It is quite good and the milk yield is good. And it is the right practice to move calves from this enterprise for the sake of fattening them somewhere else while leaving female calves for the sake of reproduction. It seems that the system works and the management of the agricultural enterprise, this woman [Anastasia Kuzmina] understands how things should be. But as always, some of our agricultural enterprises in the countryside lack order. We need order. And we have to put these things right this year. Not only in Logoisk,» the president said.

«As I told the outgoing chairman, if you build an [animal husbandry] complex, get everything cleaned up. If you have to, you can borrow people from the oblast governor. He will lend some industrial workers. Get it swept, built, done. The head [of the agricultural enterprise] can examine it and sign the papers. This is how it should be. It is unavoidable. We need oversight,» the head of state explained the required practice.

«I cannot say that our private farmers are doing much better in this regard... Nothing like that. Some good private farmers produce results. But proper order is absent. This is why it is a common problem,» Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
