The overall volume of foreign currency, both in cash and cashless forms, purchased by the public over the month amounted to $1.183 billion, while sales reached $1.457 billion.

Belarusian resident companies were net buyers of foreign currency in August. Over the month, they purchased the equivalent of $190 million more in foreign currency than they sold. The overall volume of foreign currency bought by legal entities in August amounted to $3.283 billion, while sales totaled $3.093 billion.

Overall, in January-August 2026, the net sale of foreign currency by individuals stood at $1.61 billion, while the net purchase by legal entities reached $895.3 million.
