The agenda includes 40 issues related to digital cooperation, trade agreements with third countries, technical and customs regulation, tariff preferences, product labeling, and others.
Consideration will be given to preparations for the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, in May 2026.
The EEC Council will also consider introducing amendments to the rules for determining the country of origin for certain types of goods for the purposes of state (municipal) procurement, approved by EEC Council Decision No. 105 of 23 November 2020. The amendments are aimed at ensuring unimpeded access to public procurement for EAEU member states.
The meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council is being held via videoconference.
