In January-June 2025 companies of all forms of ownership built 20,000 apartments. A total of 1,848,500 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.

Belarus commissioned some 571,800 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of better living conditions, which accounted for 30.9% of the total housing commissioned.

Some 352,000 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government. Some 238,800 square meters of housing were built for large families.

As to rural communities, 719,000 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 38.9% of homes commissioned in the country.
