Opera debut and giant screen: What featured 6th Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk
In 1997, at the 6th International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, around 600 young performers took part in the children’s show-program competition, a large flat screen for broadcasts appeared on Svoboda Square, and opera was performed at the festival venues for the first time, BelTA has learned.

On April 1, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed an order to hold the XXXІV International Festival of Arts «Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk»: it will be held from July 10 to 13.
