For the first time in a century, scientists have officially described a new species of wild cat. The miniature predator, named the tilcayo, had been hiding from science in Bolivia’s misty cloud forests.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit begins in Bishkek today, September 1, bringing together the leaders of the organization’s 10 member states. The meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council will be chaired by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
