Belarusian figure skater Viktoriia Safonova has accepted an official invitation to compete at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan, BelTA learned from the press service of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The European Youth Olympic Festival 2025 has begun in Skopje, featuring 46 Belarusian athletes competing in various sports alongside approximately 1,700 young athletes from 49 countries.

The 2026 Winter Olympics medals, unveiled by Italy, are sustainably made from recycled materials using renewable energy and represent Italian design excellence.
