Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has departed on a working visit to Kazakhstan to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

Belarus has potential to double trade with Kazakhstan, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Timur Zhaksylykov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus, on 17 March, BelTA has learned.

Economic cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan was discussed by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Timur Zhaksylykov during the meeting in Minsk on 17 March, BelTA has learned.

On 10 February, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov met with representatives of the Belarusian cultural center Radzima at the House of Friendship in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan Region, the Belarusian Embassy in Astana told BelTA.

During a visit to North Kazakhstan Region, Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov attended an official opening for a new outlet of the Belarusian Products No. 1 store chain on 10 February, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko advocates preserving and strengthening cooperation with Kazakhstan. He made this statement during a meeting with Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov in Minsk on 5 February, BelTA has learned.
