Belarusian President Lukashenko congratulated Georgia on Independence Day, praised its fight for sovereignty, and expressed hope for stronger Belarus-Georgia ties and regional stability.

Aleksandr Lukashenko has been sworn in as Belarus’ president. The inauguration ceremony took place in the Grand Ceremonial Hall, the largest hall in the Palace of Independence, BelTA has learned.
