Forest access has been completely banned in 30 districts of Belarus, BelTA reports, citing data from the interactive map of the Forestry Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus’s Council of Ministers approved an international technical assistance project focused on wildfire prevention and response in forests. The Forestry Ministry will coordinate the project.

As many as 60,000 people have joined Belarus’ forest restoration campaign Bringing Forests Back to Life, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Forestry Ministry.
