Approximately 93% of large families have already received one-off government back-to-school financial assistance, the press service of the Labor and Social Protection Ministry told BelTA.

Housing for large families should be distributed evenly across the entire country, not concentrated in Minsk and other major cities, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting with the leadership of the Council of Ministers on 23 October, BelTA has learned.

By May 2025, over 145,000 Belarusian families participated in the family capital program, with most early withdrawals used for housing, healthcare, and education.
