In a new episode of BelTA’s Nation Speaks project Olga Sazonova, Head of the Waste Management Department at the Belarusian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, spoke about the technologies that would enable Belarus to recycle 99% of its waste.

For five days, on 3-7 June, the Minsk International Exhibition Center will be hosting the Belarusian agro-industrial week’s events and the 35th international specialized exhibition Belagro 2025. Participating in the exhibition will be 545 companies from 14 countries, showcasing over 500 units of agricultural machinery and equipment used in crop cultivation, animal husbandry and food production, BelTA has learned.

On June 1, the International Children’s Day, the republican celebration «Childhood — A Peaceful Country» took place. In Minsk, the event brought together children from orphanages raised in foster and guardian families, children with developmental disabilities, and those from multi-members families, as well as students who achieved success in their studies and sports. They participated in a dialogue platform, visited the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and laid flowers at the memorial «Minsk Hero City». Afterward, they enjoyed a festive concert program. Additionally, celebratory events for Children’s Day took place in all regions of the country.
