Belarusians celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War in a grand and spectacular manner
Festive events on the occasion of this great date took place in all corners of the country. Not a single front-line soldier, partisan, or prisoner of the fascist concentration camps was left without attention. They also remembered the departed heroes, the victims of that war, whose memory lives not only in the names of streets and on memorial plaques, but in every team, family, in the hearts of the descendants of the victorious people. On these memorable days, all Belarusians — young and old — were involved in the large-scale celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. After all, this event, given to the world in May 1945, is the foundation of the development of our country, the spiritual core of the nation, which cannot be taken away from us or rewritten.
