Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman on 6 October who will be making an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarus and Oman formed a joint committee for cooperation and investment, aiming to boost trade and utilize Omani ports.

Belarus and Oman are «friends,» focusing on trade, port usage, and expanding cooperation after recent progress.

Following consultations between the staff of the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt and their Omani counterparts, the authorities of the Sultanate of Oman officially confirmed that Belarusian citizens can obtain visas free of charge upon arrival in Oman, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.
